Pittsburgh’s fearless features reporter Rege Behe asked Steve Berry a few “Littsburgh Questions” after his recent interview with him for the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review — look for that feature in the Trib later this week…
Berry — the #1 internationally bestselling author of The 14th Colony, The Patriot Threat, The Lincoln Myth, The King’s Deception, The Columbus Affair, The Jefferson Key, The Emperor’s Tomb, The Paris Vendetta, The Charlemagne Pursuit, The Venetian Betrayal, The Alexandria Link, The Templar Legacy, The Third Secret, The Romanov Prophecy, and The Amber Room — will be visiting Mystery Lovers on Wednesday, April 6th!
What comes to mind when you think of Pittsburgh?
For me, it’s Andrew Mellon, as he was central in last year’s novel, The Patriot Threat. I read a lot about Pittsburgh while researching him.
What book is on your nightstand?
A biography of Joan of Arc.
Is there a book you’d like to see made into a film?
If you mean one of my novels, I don’t really have a preference. I think any one of them would translate great to the screen.
If you were to set a story in Pittsburgh, what would it be about?
I’m actually toying with one for the future that involves another personality from the city’s past. Andrew Carnegie.
