Pittsburgh, Pa.— June 1, 2021—June 8th marks the release of the first publication produced under Aurora Corialis Publishing, an anthology titled Living Kindly. The book, curated by Leigh Clark, Chief Kindness Officer of Kindleigh, brings together contributors from across the globe—all with one thing in common: The desire to change the world by exhibiting kindness. All royalties as well as profits from sales of the digital (e-book) that day will be donated directly to Kindleigh.
Clark said, “This book will encapsulate chapters from each author’s point of view on the impact of kindness. Together we are a global task force set out to cause a ripple effect, and in turn, live our legacies through kindness. The book is an extension of the nonprofit organization I started over 10 years ago, Kindleigh, whose mission is to make the world a nicer place one act of kindness at a time. With a Kindness Community with almost 20,000 members internationally, we find unique ways to raise money for kindness initiatives—always making certain our supporters’ purchases have a purpose.”
“This is a true mission for Leigh and the contributors,” said Cori Wamsley, CEO of Aurora Corialis Publishing. “They are all unique in their kindness stories, and all have the common thread of having a passion for making the world a better place for everyone. This book was a joy to work on, and I’m proud it is the first publication under Aurora Corialis Publishing.”
Wamsley also contributed a chapter to the book about her own experience with kindness, focusing on her family and her work helping authors help others through their stories of overcoming challenges.
The book will be available in the Kindle store starting on June 8th, and the paperback will be released on June 21st on Amazon.
