“We are thrilled to announce the launch of our brand new poetry magazine, Potted Prose, a published work of Another Black Book Co., a black literature dedicated bookstore.
Our mission is to showcase the best of Pittsburgh’s local poets, with a particular emphasis on uplifting the voices of black writers who are often underrepresented in mainstream literary publications.
Another Black Book Co., is committed to producing a high-quality magazine that reflects the vibrancy and diversity of Pittsburgh’s poetry scene. With Potted Prose, we aim to provide a platform for both established and emerging poets, with a particular focus on black voices.
By contributing to our crowdfunding campaign, you’ll be supporting the printing and distribution of the magazine, as well as the local black poets who are featured in its pages. We believe that poetry has the power to inspire, educate, and unite communities, and that it is important for everyone to have access to diverse and inclusive literature.
But we can’t do it alone. We need your support to make this project a reality. By contributing to our crowdfunding campaign, you’ll be helping to fund the printing and distribution of the magazine, event launch, as well as supporting the local poets who are featured in its pages.
So join us in celebrating black voices in poetry and literature, and help us make a difference. Donate now and be a part of our journey!”
