Henry Reese is the co-founder and President
of the Pittsburgh City of Asylum project, the amazing shelter program for persecuted writers he founded with his wife Diane Samuels after listening to Rushdie talking about the Fatwa. So I keep him in my thoughts too. @cityofasylum https://t.co/Bmungbgzvw— Sjón 🇺🇦🏳️⚧️🏳️🌈 (@Sjonorama) August 12, 2022
We ask for your prayers for Salman Rushdie and Henry Reese, and patience as we fully focus on coordinating with police officials following a tragic incident at the Amphitheater today. All programs are canceled for the remainder of the day. Please consult the NYS Police statement.
